But fate had other plans. Secondary school beckoned, and they found themselves attending different schools. The distance tested their friendship, but they kept in touch through phone calls and holidays where they will meet after school.

 

They became closer to each other when they both started attending catholic doctrine for first Holy Communion. After which they joined the youths groups at the junior levels (cadets and alter servers). Then, serendipity intervened. Laura and Alberick both chose to attend the same High School for their A-level studies. Reunited, they reignited their close bond, spending lunch breaks reminiscing about old times and making new memories.

 

After high school, their paths diverged once more as Alberick Traveled to the United States, while Laura remained in their hometown, pursuing a degree at the University of Bamenda.
